An administrator's guide to Plickers Pro for Schools (group order)

First of all, thank you so much for your order - we really appreciate your support!

A group order will give you access to our Plickers Pro for Schools platform. This is essentially an order management page, in which you can control and distribute the subscriptions you have available.

Below we first go through the payment process (after you've submitted your details through our Google Form), and then we'll take you through the steps involved in managing your order and distributing the Pro subscriptions to your colleagues.

Confirmation and Payment

The steps below refer to the payment process that follows after you've filled in our Google Form. If you've received your Order Management Link already, please head down to the next section.

  1. After filling in our Google Form, you'll receive an email from our sales department

    They'll have attached a formal quote, and provided answers to any questions you may have asked.

    Keep an eye on your spam folder, just in case the email ends up there.

  2. Check the quote and reply

    If everything looks ok, please reply to the email to confirm your order. We'll then send over instructions for payment.

  3. Follow the payment instructions

    You're welcome to set up a Purchase Order or pay using a major credit/debit card. The team will be able to provide more details depending on your preference.

    When payment has been provided, you'll receive an email containing instructions on how to use the Plickers Pro for Schools platform. Don't worry, it's a very straightforward system (and we've also included the steps in the next section).

  4. Read the instructions in our confirmation email and follow the link provided

    You'll arrive at a page that looks like this:

    This is the Plickers Pro for Schools order management page, and it's where you'll manage your order.

Using the Plickers Pro for Schools page to manage your order

The next steps deal with managing your quota of Plickers Pro subscriptions. There are three tasks featured in the toggle boxes below; the first task is the essential one, so it's best to read through these in order:

  • It's a simple process to allocate subscriptions to teachers and colleagues within your organization.

    1. Follow the link we provide, to access your order management page

    2. Copy the Claim Membership Link

      If you hover over the link, you'll see a button to Copy to clipboard.

      You can also try clicking Show instructions to send to teachers to claim their membership. This will reveal a template message that you can copy into an email.

    3. Paste the link (or template message) into an email

    4. Send the email to your colleagues upgrading to Pro

      All they'll need to do then is click on the membership link.

      Note that the membership link only works if a user is signed in to their Plickers account. So please ask your colleagues to make sure of the following before they click:

      • Those already with Plickers accounts should make sure they are signed in to the account that they wish to be upgraded to Pro
      • Those that have not used Plickers before will need to first create a Plickers account at plickers.com/signup. They should then remain signed in when they click the link

      If preferred, teachers can choose to enter the license key (also provided in the template message) in their Plickers account. They'll just need to go to plickers.com/account and select Add License Key.

  • If you scroll down a little on your Plickers Pro for Schools order management page, you'll find a section that displays how many teachers have joined your order and upgraded to Pro (look for the Claimed Memberships heading).

    1. Use the counter and progress bar to see how many subscriptions remain

    2. Browse the data table to manage the subscriptions of those who have signed up

        Tip

      You can click on the column headings to sort the table by each different variable.

  • A situation may arise in which you'll need to remove a teacher from your subscription quota, for instance if they retire or change schools. To do so, you'll use the data table (referred to in the toggle box above) in the following way:

    1. Access your Plickers Pro for Schools order management page

    2. Find the name of your colleague

    3. Click the 'Remove' button adjacent to their name on the right-hand side

    4. Send the membership link to another teacher to fill the place again
