A teacher's guide to upgrading to Pro with a group order

If your school, district, or organization has purchased Plickers Pro subscriptions for you and your colleagues, you're in the right place. This guide will take you through what to do next.

When your administrator sends you the details to upgrade to Plickers Pro, they may either send you a link or a license key. These are covered in the sections below.

The main thing to know is that you'll need a Plickers account set up beforehand. So your route will differ slightly, depending on whether you already have an account set up or not. Use the toggle boxes below to find the relevant steps for you.

Upgrade using a membership link

It's likely your administrator will send over a link for you to click. Here are the details:

• 1. On your computer, sign in to your Plickers account at plickers.com

     Make sure that you are signed in to the account that you would like to upgrade.

     If you want to use a different email address to sign in (and keep your previously-created content), you can change it in your usual account page at www.plickers.com/account. Follow this link to find out more info on how to do this.

  2. Find the membership link provided by your administrator and click on it

     You'll be taken to plickers.com and a confirmation window will appear. Please read through the info provided.

  3. Confirm you would like to upgrade to Pro

     After you've read through the info and confirmed, the account you're currently signed in to will automatically be upgraded.

• 1. On your computer, create a Plickers account at plickers.com/signup

     Our Getting Started Guides include all the necessary details you need to get your account fully set up (it's probably best to read through those guides after you've followed the next few steps here though).

  2. Find the membership link provided by your administrator and click on it

     You'll be taken back to your account at plickers.com and a confirmation window will appear. Please read through the info provided.

  3. Confirm you would like to upgrade to Pro

     After you've read through the info and confirmed, the account you're currently signed in to will automatically be upgraded.

Upgrade using a license key

You administrator may have sent round a license key instead of a membership link. Or, it may be the case that the link you were given didn't work. If so, you can try following these steps instead:

• 1. Copy the 10-digit license key provided by your administrator

  2. On your computer, sign in to your Plickers account at plickers.com

     Make sure you're signed in to the account that you would like to upgrade.

     If you want to use a different email address to sign in (and keep your previously-created content), you can change it in your usual account page at www.plickers.com/account. Follow this link to find out more info on how to do this.

  3. Navigate to your Account page

     You can reach your Account page by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner of plickers.com.

  4. Scroll down to the 'Plan' section

  5. Select 'Add License Key'

     A popup window will appear.

  6. Enter your 10-digit license key into the text box

  7. Click the blue 'Add License Key' button

     Your account will be upgraded to Pro straight away (you've now joined your school's order).

  4. Navigate to your Account page

     You can reach your Account page by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner of plickers.com.

  5. Scroll down to the 'Plan' section

  6. Select 'Add License Key'

     A popup window will appear.

  7. Enter your 10-digit license key into the text box

  8. Click the blue 'Add License Key' button

     Your account will be upgraded to Pro straight away (you've now joined your school's order).
